Meet the Founder
Prior to founding Fig, Sally worked in some of Cape Town’s most reputable skin care clinics and medical aesthetics practises. She also earned her stripes on the road - repping for one of South Africa’s leading medical skin care brands.
Sally is a physically active and “outdoors first” mom, and knows the many potential combinations needed to repair skin damage through her first hand experience, but more than any other factor Sally believes that a genuinely impactful initial consultation is key to finding the outcome.
"Successful skincare is as much about understanding the lifestyle, lifestage and mindset of my patients as it is about the ingredients of the products I'll use. If I don't get to know you, I probably won't be able to help you get what you're after."

Why work with Fig?
Fig believes that truly healthy skin is not the result of hiding from the outdoors, countless hours in front of the mirror and lifestyle changes to avoid the free radicals that life throws at you. Rather, we believe in a balance between living your best life while remaining conscious of the factors that contribute to keeping your skin looking healthy – not to hermit away in search of porcelain-doll skin.
Fig knows that while beauty goes a lot further than skin deep, we believe that most people want to address the skin blemishes and imperfections that come with living their lives to the fullest while getting older. What’s often missing however, is the right information and a trusted partner to help them get to where they want to be. Fig wants to be just that – the trusted partner in your journey to healthier, consistent, and natural looking skin.
So, whether you’re after anti-ageing solutions, anti-pigmentation treatments, want to deal with acne issues or you’re just after some experienced and balanced skin-care advice, visit us to begin your journey to a healthy, natural skin that doesn’t take away from the things you enjoy in life.
whats in a name
Why call it Fig?
Much like your skin, the fiddle leaf fig can be fickle, but when treated right it becomes the star of just about any home.
The fiddle leaf fig doesn’t like too much sun, but for the leaves to look their best, they need plenty of sunlight. Yes, it would be best if you didn’t overwater it, but leaving it parched and dry is a far worse approach. So, the fiddle leaf fig, just like your skin, needs the right amount of attention and the right mix of nutrients. More than anything though, it needs these in a consistent manner to keep it looking its best – consistency is the key.
So, just like the fiddle leaf fig, if you use the proper nutrients and follow some simple steps in a consistent manner, your skin will feature as the star of just about any show.
